Hanuman Medical Foundation is a 501(C)3 not for profit, that was founded to identify and support innovative research that is unlikely to receive funding from traditional sources. These research ideas that are not being funded are what we call 'orphan therapies.'
Hanuman Medical Foundation will focus on funding 'orphan therapies' that would greatly benefit those suffering from diseases yet would not provide a sizable return to investors and would not greatly expand scientific knowledge.
The first orphan therapy that the Hanuman Medical Foundation plans to fund is the "Solving Diabetes Project" which is a research collaboration between Cerco Medical and University of California Irvine led by Dr. Lakey.

“Realistically with the research that we’re doing right now, we could see that the Islet sheet technology could go to clinicals within two to four years if we find proper funding and continue on the track that we’re on.”
